June 8th California Primary Election Voter Guide

Dear Californians,

Don't have time to research all of the state measures before the election on Tuesday? Use my handy voter guide, which not only explains how to vote (in bold) but why any sensible, informed person would vote that way.

Prop 13 - YES
   - More retrofitted earthquake-safe buildings = good

Prop 14 - NO
   - Keep third parties in the mix

Prop 15 -YES
   - Tax lobbyists to pay for more fair elections

Prop 16 - NO
   - Prevent establishment of electric-company monopolies

Prop 17 - NO FREAKIN' WAY
   - Mercury Auto Insurance wrote this proposition so they can charge poor people a screwed-up fee for lapses in their insurance coverage history, which is what they do in other states
